hast du
auf Wasser gewartet
beim endlosen Marsch
durch die herzverzehrende
Wüste.

Die Dürre
hat sich
von deiner Frische genährt,
blühte auf
zur Oase
erquickend, mit Palmen
und Brunnen.
Sie ließ
dir nichts
als das
Knochen-
gerippe.

to the oasis
refreshing,
with palm trees

the skeleton.

ai asteptat
apa
in timpul marsului nesfarsit
prin desertul
care devora
inima.

Seceta
hrănita
de prospețimea ta,
a înflorit în oază
răcoritoare,
cu palmieri
și fântâni.
Nu ți-a lăsat
decât
scheletul osos.
