mică fugă / little getaway

în octombrie pomii sînt
lumină arămie dulce
– nu văd moartea venind
printre ei să se culce.

(au ochii pururi ţintiţi
doar spre viaţa viitoare
aburită desfăcîndu-se
în multipla floare.)

iar soarele trece încet
tot dinspre est spre vest
cînd frunzele luminează
multiplu. în rest…

in October the trees are
sweet copper light
– not seeing death coming
among them to lay tight.

(their eyes are always aimed
only to the coming hour
steamed unfolding
in multiple flower.)

and the sun passes slowly
still from east to west, as
the leaves light up
multiple times. otherwise…
